Annapurna Base Camp Trek is popular moderate trekking trail in Annapurna region of Nepal.  The major peaks of western fraction of enormous Annapurna Himal which includes Hiunchuli, Annapurna south, Fang, Annapurna, Gangapurna, Annapurna 3 and Machhauchhare are arranged in such a way that they accurately form a loop having a diameter of about 10 miles. Further going south this gorge becomes even wider giving rise to the fertile valley where Gurung people live.
